Every time my fiance and I go into the grocery store, one of the first places we head is to the end of the organic fruit and veggie aisle. From the vantage point of the turnips, the Bolthouse Farms display shines like a heavenly beacon of delicious goodness. From natural juices and smoothies to protein drinks and lemonades, it’s often a miracle if we haven’t filled the cart before moving on to the next aisle.
The Bolthouse family began commercial farming in 1915 in Grant, Michigan. Today, they run a vertical farming operation in Bakersfield, and San Joaquin Valley, California with a mission to provide quality, low-cost products to health and environment conscious consumers.
Along with tasty, healthy drinks, Bolthouse Farms also packages carrots and salad dressings, two things I cannot possibly live without during summer salad season. In fact, Bolthouse Farms is one of the nation’s leading carrot producers, and though I tend to buy local or pluck from the garden when veggies are in season, in the off-months, I munch a lot of Bolthouse carrots.
Two of our favorite products are the Green Goodness protein smoothie and the mocha cappuccino shake, the latter often causing a family ruckus if there’s only one left on the shelf.

Committed to providing products that are 100% natural and 100% delicious, they definitely live up to the delicious standard in my book.
If you’ve never had the pleasure of trying their products, I highly recommend them. Let me know what you think, and which of their yummy drinks is your favorite. I’m always looking to try one I haven’t had before.
