This is the first Ren product I have ever tried. I’ve been curious about the line for a while and the Moroccan Rose Otto Ultra Moisture Body Oil was highly recommended as a good place to start. I’m not a big user of body oils, but when another client spent 10 minutes raving to me about it, I decided to get my hands on some. Ren Clean Bio Active Skincare is a line that is dedicated to:
“Making Clean Products that are free from skin-unfriendly ingredients including: Synthetic fragrance, petrochemicals, sulfate detergents, synthetic colours, animal ingredients and parabens.”
This body oil is definitely a splurge at $65.00 a bottle, but pure rose oil in itself is expensive so its kind of expected. This body oil has a wonderful texture to it that absorbs into the skin nicely. I applied it right after a shower so my skin was still damp to really lock in the moisture. The scent is my favorite part as it has a nice warm rose scent that is bold yet not too overpowering. This oil will work well for someone who is sensitive to perfumes and strong fragrances, and didn’t irritate my picky nose.

My skin looked really good too. It was dewy, hydrated and the moisture lasted all day. I admit that I didn’t actually buy this oil and the price makes me hesitate actually purchasing a bottle. However, a little of this oil goes a long way and I think a full sized bottle would last a decent amount of time. I know I spend way more on other skincare items in my routine and the yummy scent makes it a tempting treat, but I think I’m going to stick to my regular moisturizer for now.
